Who we are

ProtPTX provides documentation and workflow software for information security programs. Contact details are on the contact page.

What we collect

What you tell us. Your name, work email, firm name, firm size, state, and whatever you write in a form or send us in a message.
What the product holds. Descriptions of your systems, vendors, and data locations; names and roles of people in your firm for access and training records; and the documents and log entries the product generates.
Basic technical data. Server logs necessary to operate and secure the service.

What we do not collect

We do not want and do not ask for your clients' tax returns, source documents, Social Security numbers, or financial account numbers. Do not send them to us. The quiz on this site runs entirely in your browser and submits nothing.

To secure the service and investigate misuse
To meet our own legal obligations

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in a contact form, and any list you do join has an unsubscribe link that works.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers we need to operate: hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and error monitoring. Each is bound by contract to appropriate safeguards, which is a requirement we are subject to for the same reason you are. Our current subprocessor list is available on request.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a customer, and afterwards only as long as we need it for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution reasons. You can request deletion at any time, subject to those limits. Your generated documents are exportable in Word and PDF at any point, including after you leave.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy. Write to us and we will respond. Rights vary by jurisdiction and we will tell you which apply to your situation.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookie set is strictly necessary to operate the service, and the site functions without analytics.

If we change this notice materially we will say so on this page and, for customers, by email.
